Jewelcrafting

On November 13th, 2007 the Jewelcrafting system evolved to a new method.  With this change, jewelcrafters are now able to construct base pieces of jewelry and gems that can be mixed and matched to obtain different effects.  This has allowed for a much greater set of options for those who desire customized jewelry.

Available Slot Types:

• Ring
• Pendant
• Veil
• Earring
• Bracelet

Available Setting Types:

• Solo - 1 type 11 augment slot
• Dual - 1 type 11 & 1 type 10 augment slots
• Trio - 1 type 11 & 2 type 10 augment slots

Available Metal Types:

In order of power

• Silver - recommended level 1
• Electrum - recommended level 1
• Gold - recommened level 20
• Platinum - recommened level 35
• Velium - recommened level 50
• Palladium - recommened level 60
• Dwerium - recommened level 70

Recommendations:

You will likely pay a higher price for a Trio setting type, however, with that higher price comes the ability to add 3 gems, one to each of the 3 augment slots.  This will result in a very nice piece of jewelery that will help you progress in your ongoing adventures.

Dwerium Trio Ring:

Strength: 37 Stamina: 25 Intelligence: 25 Hitpoints: 150

• Alexandrite - marquise cute (Type 11)
• Carnelian - round cut (Type 10)
• Opal - round cut (Type 10)

Note: Duplicate gem types are not allowed

Basics:

The metal type will determine the overall power of each gem.  The gem type and cut will determine the stats of the jewelry item.  You can begin your review of each gem cut & metal combination type by clicking here.

Additional Considerations:

• The jewelry is attunable, so once you put it on, you can no longer sell it to another player.
• The power of your jewelry will scale down based on your Avatar's level relative to the metal's recommended level.
• The gems can be swapped in and out, allowing you to upgrade or change the focus of your jewelry sets.
• You may want to purchase more than one set of jewelry, each designed for the different challenges your Avatar will face.
